I have explained on numerous threads how to completely delete everything related to Omnisphere/Keyscape. Always as Administrator and do not worry abut a message stating "failed to D'souza Revo Uninstaller is NOT going to do it, even with its deep scan. Run it at least twice for each search term. Use Regscanner options as shown below:ĭelete all entries. Next run Regscanner as Administrator using the search terms Omnisphere/Keyscape/Trilian/RMX/Spectrasonics. Delete all results that are NOT in the STEAM or SAGE folders. Run Ultrasearch as Administrator using search terms Omnisphere/Keyscape/Trilian//RMX/Spectrasonics. Once you have those programs make sure that your STEAM and SAGE folders are protected from any type of deletions. I will try to recap it because I get tired of writing the same thing over and over.īefore you start you must avail yourself of these 2 free programs: It's a time consuming process but this was the only way I got Omnisphere to install correctly.D'souza Revo Uninstaller is NOT going to do it, even with its deep scan. If you just installing the entire synth on your boot disk let Omnisphere create the folders don't use the option of naming the folders yourself. Once you have made sure all previous installs are off the system and you have run onyX. (No matter where it is on your system get rid of it) It causes conflict and for some reason will not allow Logic or GB to see it as an AU. It is very important that nothing is left behind from the previous installs. After you move everything to trash I ran a free application called OnyX to fix permissions etc and rebooted the computer. I would use "spotlight" to find all associated folders. Go through your receipts folder and application support folder and delete everything Spectrasonics installed. I made sure everything Omnisphere and "steam" was completely taken off my drive. Sorry your having trouble with the install. (but the space is taken up on my hard drive). The one I saved to a folder called "Spectrasonic Instruments" on the desktop was there after the installation completed, but how do I actually open Omnisphere the application? I would like to use it with Garage Band or Logic Pro 8 but I can't open Omnisphere!!! Am I doing something wrong? I've never owned a Spectrasonics instrument before so can anyone help? The latest install I just installed it right to the Hard Drive with no folder name. Each time I tried naming different folders. The other 3 times I installed each time I deleted all preceding information/folders containing Spectrasonics and started from scratch. When I go to install (I have installed 4 times = many hours of frustration) All the discs install alright (although every time I insert the disc and open the install window that prompts me to choose a folder to install on, it says "no additional space will be used", when on the tutorial it says "requires 7.6 GB of free space" so I am worried that the discs don't really contain the actual Omnisphere Application) As soon as the 6th disc is finished installing when it says "you can now open Omnisphere with a host" I can't find the folder anywhere. I am beginning to think the discs are defective. Hey, I'm having a similar issue as well installing Omnisphere.
